Why Precision Pediatrics?

FSU Health Precision Pediatrics is the only precision medicine clinic in Tallahassee, serving all of North Florida.

Rare diseases collectively affect 1:10 Americans. Approximately 80% of rare diseases have a genetic cause and therefore can be identified at birth through genome sequencing. Accurate and timely diagnosis is critical for effective treatment and management.

Precision Pediatrics has the scientific and personnel resources to help families navigate this process and reduce the "diagnostic odyssey" many endure.

Our clinical staff includes a pediatrician, licensed genetic counselor and neuropsychologist. Precision Pediatrics has the full backing of the Florida Institute of Pediatric Rare Diseases' multidisciplinary team of scientists and clinicians, striving to develop innovative solutions for the treatment and management of rare diseases
