Tresa Rai-Kim, MS, LCGC
Tresa serves as a Clinical Genetic Counselor at the FSU Health Precision Pediatrics Clinic, evaluating pediatric patients for inherited conditions, coordinating genetic testing, and supporting families through clinical care. She also serves as Assistant Director and Assistant Professor for the upcoming Master of Science in Genetic Counseling (MSGC) program, driving program development, student recruitment, and outreach while contributing to the Sunshine Genetics Project. Prior to joining FSU, Tresa spent five years as the Lead Oncology Genetic Counselor at Lee Health in Southwest Florida, where she directed program expansion, mentored prospective students, and advocated for healthcare access in underserved communities. She holds an M.S. in Genetic Counseling from Bay Path University, an M.S. in Plant Biotechnological and Environmental Science from Dongguk University, and a B.S. in Biology from George Mason University.
